“Made-up”: A Photography Exhibition about Fashion Photography and Personal Identity

“Identity” a term most commonly understood to describe personal identity, or the idiosyncratic things that make a person unique. An important part of ‘identity’ is gender identity, as this dictates to a significant degree how an individual views him or herself both as a person.

“Colours”: A New Photography Exhibition and Week of Activities about Emotional Wellbeing

Martin Edwards & Red Gate Gallery are delighted to announce a week-long programme of activities to celebrate photography and to promote emotional wellbeing, from 20 March to 26 March 2009.

• An exhibition of new work by photographer Martin Edwards
• A talk by the Samaritans on emotional health and their work
• An interview with the photographer on the exhibition and his future projects
• An Open Day for beginners and students of all ages for photography
