Having suddenly passed away in May 2009 at the age of 46, David Payne was an artist who wasn’t driven by thoughts of being exhibited; he worked for the sheer enjoyment of creating work. This exhibition, arranged by his family and friends, serves as a tribute in his memory as well as giving everyone a last chance to see his vast and unique collection.
